KUTZTOWN--The Bloomsburg University softball team lost to Lock Haven 6-1 on Sunday in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional title game. The Huskies had reached the championship round with a 3-0 win over Kutztown earlier in the day.

Bloomsburg, which had runners doubled off and thrown out at the plate in the bottom of the first, made it 3-1 on Tiff Corliss' (Lewisburg/Mifflinburg) solo homer in the second. The Lady Eagles then put the game out of reach in the seventh scoring three unearned runs with the help of three errors and a two-run homer by Sarah Norris.
